from cousin jim (henman):
"Bev and i watched the web cast . Thoroughly enjoyed the songs and your and the bands performance . Rick did a great job.. and the gal and others gave you beautiful harmony support . Free From Sin worked and stood out .. Some wonderful tunes I had not had the pleasure of hearing before ..Looks like you are where you always wanted to be ... singer /songwriter leading his own band . WOW . Dreams do come true .. Congrats .. with love , Jim"

shirley jennifer argent:
"By the words of your first song last night you answered my question about whether or not you liked sailing, great job, love the sound of your voice and the guitar player, I almost thought Slash was there......"

andy marshman:
"I really enjoyed this. As you know, by double clicking on the small window you get full screen view so watching on a computer monitor was just fine. The soundman did a good job with the mix. The opening act was good. Bonus to have Rick Gunn and Lorne's wife. Gunn has some tasty guitar work and great tone. Y I was very impressed with the vocal harmonies all around. When the material is previously unknown to the audience, the harmonies engulf you and kind of take you away with the song. Hard for me to put into words but it worked big time for me."

dana williams:
"I wasn't able to catch the whole performance but what I did see sounded great. Who was the other guitarist that was playing with you? He was rather good."

brother ritchie (henman):
"Too short by about maybe...two songs. Otherwise great show. Congrats to all. We watched it with Mom and Dad on the new PC downstairs. The sound was slightly out of sync with the video...don't know if it was broadcast that way or just my signal. The mix was excellent, especially after I figured out that my sub was unplugged embarrassingly late in the show. Dad was surprised how low key your show was and remembered a time when you told him acts like Como, Sinatra, Martin, et al were too slow for modern audiences:-) The arrangement of Free Of Sin was nice. Adam knew who Wendell Ferguson was and spoke highly of him. I didn't think he fared too well tonight but I can sure see the talent and potential. What was that white guitar?"

tom golfetto:
"Thank you for including me in the notification about your webcast. Since knowing a little about your history, I was curious to discover where you were at musically after your many years underground. I enjoyed your show at the Rose Theatre immensely. I found your songs compelling to listen to. You are very comfortable in a variety of musical dimensions. Not only do you write in very diverse styles, but your songs take listeners through an array of sensations and feelings. I also want to compliment your band. Through complex rhythms and non traditional chord progressions, they provided a solid foundation on which to build your songs. All were skilled players who seemed very at ease with each other. Your 'special guest' Rick Gunn was outstanding on his Stratocaster and played with a great deal of feeling. That guys fingers just leap up the fretboard at times!!! Your new bassist and his wife are welcome additions to your lineup and your drummer played with finesse, not overpowering the delicate changes in your songs. My two favorite tunes, which resonated in my mind long after the show were Don't it Seem Kinda Strange and the Celtic number that you played two songs later. If I were to offer one comment designed as constructive criticism, I would recommend that you open with Don't It Seem Kinda Strange - a kick ass song that is sure to jolt the audience into paying attention. My highest regards to you and your hot band."

jeff from the strat forum:
"Good organic tones, David. My wife likes the jewelry. Definitely less heavy than I imagined. Good harmonies. My only regret is that at no time did a debate on guns break out :)"

jesse segovia (strat forum):
"The guest guitarist is awesome, very tasteful and clean. The songs were solid and the performance was smooth and professional. I wish the David Henman band every success. I hope he remembers us then! And isn't the gun debate the encore?"

bob rossa (strat forum):
"I thought it was great. Nice tunes. RIck Gunn is talented. I thought the production values were very high. The sound was great here. I thought the camera work was good too. Good work David!"
